Best Bet Soccer Predictions – 31 March 2012

OK, so here we are with the Best Bet Soccer predictions for this weekend.

We have four soccer betting picks from the main European leagues this week and one stand out lay opportunity.

First the four soccer selections for our accumulator, covered by four trebles:

1. England – Arsenal stand out as huge value (8/15)  to win at QPR.
2. France – St Etienne have suffered a couple of defeats in their last two matches but they have been against good opposition and they should have no trouble overcoming their visitors, Nice. Odds of 19/20 seem to be generous.
3. Germany – Werder Bremen results are somewhat inconsistent bu they over came Mainz (on their ground) by three goals to one earlier in the season. At 23/20 we take them to do the double over them.
4. Spain – Malaga really are on a roll having taken 16 points from their last six matches, with the two dropped points being an away draw against Real Madrid. They should have no problem overcoming Real Betis at odds of 4/6.

The Best Bet Soccer predictions accumulator and four doubles at the quoted prices returns at almost 6/1 for the four wins.

Then we come to our lay bet.

Bayer Leverkusen have been in something of a sticky patch since they were absolutely hammered by Barcelona. The opposition, Freiburg, may not appear to be anything special and in other circumstances we’d not give them much of a chance. However, they’ve had a strinbg of good results and much be brimming with confidence. We may not be able to see them actually beating Leverkusen but a draw has to be on the cards. The Best Bet Soccer prediction is that Leverkusen will not win and we recommend laying them. The odds are around about 5/7.

As you can see from the last few weeks selections, nothing is certain so don’t risk more than you can afford to lose. Let’s just hope for a change in fortune – or return to normality!

There’s A Standout Best Bet Soccer Pick For 26 February!

There are several interesting matches in Europe this weekend with Arsenal v Spurs in England, Bayern Munich v Juventus in Italy and Bayern Munich v Schalke in Germany. add to that Lyon v PSG in France and there should be some classic soccer.

However, at Best Bet Soccer we consider that there is one particular match that offers huge soccer betting value – Marseille who are odds against with most bookmakers to go to Stade Brest and bring away the points.

The selection has taken 11 points from the last five matches which includes draws with Valenciennes and Lyon and wins against Rennes and Lille. These are all sides well placed in the top half of the table and, with the possible exception of Valenciennes, would have European football as a target for next year so the points tally has to be respected.

Conversely, Brest have managed draws against lowly placed teams Ajaccio and Dijon, they’ve, lost to the high flying Montpellier and PSG and it’s necessary to look back five matches for their latest win – 1-0 at home to joint bottom Nice.

Marseille are fifth highest goalscorers in the league, fourt best goal difference and only PSG have let in less at the other end. This compares to Brest who, with 21 goals, have the worst scoring record in the league. They do, however, seem to have a reasonable defence having conceded only 22 – the same as Marseille.

In our view this all adds up to Marseille achieving at least a draw and we see them as strong enough to take all three points in their march towards a European spot (they are currently one place and three points off Europa League qualification) for next season. At odds against to us they represent the best value available this weekend and we’ll be on them.

The other eye-catcher is in Germay – Bayern Munich. Odds of 2-5 appear to us to be altogether too skinny. Schalke are a quality outfit, although you wouldn’t always think so. They dropped points earlier this month which has put them outside automatic Champions League qualification but they remain comfortably in the play off place. They have the highest goals for in the league and although Bayern Munich have an excellent defensive records we can see Schalke throwing everything they have at them. At 2-5 we consider Bayern Munich to be a clear lay opportunity.

Good luck!

Best Bet Soccer back in business

Having lost our Best Bet Soccer resident expert tipster early in 2010 we attempted to continue without him. However, the replacement wasn’t up to the mark. We kept on giving him another chance, and another and so on but watched our profit dwindle away. So much so that we felt it unfair to continue to take our subscribers money for the qyuality of information we were providing so we suspended our service

BUT – now we’re back in business. Over the last few weeks our new expert has produced some fantastic results forecasts and its time for us to start sharing them with you.

This relaunched setrvice is the same but different – if that makes sense!

It’s the same in so far as it will provide quality, high winning percentage Best Bet Soccer selections, as did our original service. It also recomends the type of bet you should use and the staking plan, as did our original service. It’s different in that we’ll not always recommend three Best Bet Soccer picks and more or less religious;ly stick to the trixie bet. We’ll be providing varying numbers of selections and recommending different types of bet depending upon the selections made. In addition we’ll be providing the Best Bet Soccer tips on a more ad hoc basis. Some weeks there may be none and others there may be more than one advice. For instance, this weekend we may provide three selections for a trixie, another single on the following Tuesday and a double on the Thursday. We may then have bo selection until the weekend following the next so you’ll receive nothing!

The point of this is that we are not commiting to providing information at any particular time which means that if the quality of the Best Bet Soccer picks can be maintained at the high level you require and deserve.

We’ll be kicking off our improved and exciting service with a few weeks free advices to be publishjed on this blog so keep coming back to review our tips, see how well they do and, perhaps, make a few £s or $s profit alonmg the way!

It’s good to be back

Preview of Champions League Matches for 8 December 2009

bbslogo2cm

Welcome to the Best Bet Soccer preview of the European Champions League matches for 8 December 2009.

We’ve previously mentioned that we consider this round of matches just too difficult. There are several games where the result will have a direct impact on whether or not either or both teams go through. There are other matches where there is virtually nothing riding on the outcome. There are one or two which were simply too difficult to call.

Wolfsburg are at home to Manchester United. Manchester United are virtually certain of qualification. With their injury problems we believe they may have difficulty overcoming Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg need the win to be themselves almost certain of qualification. The result in the match between CSKA Moscow and Besiktas is a very difficult one to call but we can see a situation where CSKA absolutely overwhelm Besiktas and could steal the second spot if Wolfsburg don’t convincingly beat Manchester United. We’ll leave this group alone.

We then have FC Zürich versus AC Milan. AC Milan really should have the beating of Zürich and this would see them nicely through to the knockout stages, whatever happens in the match between Marseille and Real Madrid. However, AC Milan have been unreliable this season and we cannot support them. In the Marseille/Real Madrid match a win would see Marseille nicely through to the knockout stages and could leave Real Madrid with a problem. Given home advantage we can see Marseille at least holding out for a point but not overconfident in the outcome so will also be leaving this group alone.

Chelsea will be at very short odds for a home win against Apoel Nicosia. Although we expect them to win we cannot take them on at the expected odds. Particularly where the match means nothing to Chelsea but Apoel Nicosia need all three points to have any chance of qualifying for the Europa Cup there is a distinct possibility of a shock result. In the second match in this group FC Porto are also already through to the knockout stages. They play Atletico Madrid who with a win would be certain to take their place in the last 32 of the Europa cup. FC Porto cannot overtake Chelsea to top spot and therefore the match means almost nothing to them whereas Atletico both have something to prove and the certainty of a place in the Europa cup at stake. We’ll certainly be leaving this group alone.

That leaves us with group A where Bordeaux play away Maccabi Haifa. In the normal run of things we would expect Bordeaux to win comfortably. However, they are already qualified and guaranteed top spot. Although the Maccabi Haifa so far have no points this could be their big opportunity! The remaining match in this group really is the one with all to play for where Juventus are at home to Bayern Munich. With Juventus on 8 points Bayern on 7 where a draw will be sufficient for Juventus, Bayern really have to go all out for the win. With Juventus possibly at the end of a good run but with Bayern Munich apparently beginning to hit form this one really could go either way. We’ll therefore be leaving this one alone too.

No selections on Tuesday. Look out for our Wednesday review.

Best Bet Soccer Winning Trixie – 5 and 6 December 2009

bbslogo2cm

We have to crow a little about our soccer betting selections this week. After a few weeks with nil or only partial returns the Best Bet Soccer system picks produced three out of three.

We “kicked off” with Aston Villa who won comfortably, followed this up with Bordeaux and then Schalke did the business for us – although looking a little jittery at times.

Our £25 trixie (total stake £100.00) returns £253 for a profit of £153. Not huge but it’s a winner and not to be sneezed at!

When we were making our selections this week there were a high number of predictions. We’re regretting not putting up a second trixie – Portsmouth, Manchester United and Marseilles!

Although we’ve had a bad run we remain “in the black”. We’ve not had to add to our bank. We’ve not even had to introduce additional funds from the spare £200 held outside our betting bank. With this win we’re well set for the next few weeks and looking forward to profiting from betting on our selections!

We cannot see any value in the midweek European Champions League matches this week. There are a number of “dead” matches and there are others where, frankly, anything could happen with teams fighting for a place in the last 16 or in the Europa Cup. At this stage we think that these games are best left alone.

We’re looking forward to next weekend with keen anticipation.
